Philly Photo Day

Friday, October 26 was annual Philly Photo Day, when everyone is encouraged to take photos within city limits during those 24 hours.  We had until Wednesday to submit them, so they can be included in an exhibition.  Unfortunately, I was distracted by good old Hurricane Sandy, so I didn't submit my photos, but that doesn't mean they can't go here!
I met my sister for dinner at Llama Tooth, on Spring Garden St., and took my time getting home to take in the views, as well as some pictures.  I love this city so much.

Staycation!

My friend Lisa and her mom were in town for 2 days to shoot a commercial for an unnamed non-local gas/convenience store very similar to our beloved Wawa.  (They are food stylists!)  They invited me to tag along last night, so I was given the opportunity to be a tourist in my own city.  We ate like there was no tomorrow, wandered outside of City Hall, sought out unlocked ballrooms, and slept, among feathers, on the 15th floor of the Ritz Carlton.  Then the sun came up, and we went to work, like any other day, and the 13 hour vacation was gone.

Summer Music

I went to see Radiohead with my sisters and a friend on Wednesday.  I've seen them before, but it was still a great show.  Even better, it was a beautiful night to be outside and stare at my city:

1. Elevator at the parking garage
2 & 3. Stranger swinging light sticks
4. Philadelphia at sunset
5. Blanket, shoes, etc.
6. Radiohead
7. Claire
8. More Radiohead
9. Philadelphia at night
